Eligibility
Pass in 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics.Medicals
Before aspiring pilots in India can pursue a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), they must undergo two medical examinations:- Class 2 Medical Examination: Conducted by DGCA-empaneled Class 2 medical practitioners.
- Class 1 Medical Examination: Conducted by DGCA Class 1 Medical Examiners.
Class 1 medicals must be renewed annually.
A unique file number (Pilot Medical Record – PMR) will be assigned for tracking their medical records. These examinations assess physical fitness to ensure pilots can handle the various challenges of flying, including soaring altitudes, unpredictable weather, and long hours in the cockpit. Regular re-certifications are required throughout a pilot’s career to prioritize safety at all times.
